Kunro Irié

Kunro Irié is a visiting fellow with the Energy Security and Climate Change Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. His research interests include energy security and supply chains, engagement policies on decarbonization, and the effect of decarbonization on geopolitics. Kunro has a wide range of experience in the private and public sectors. His private sector experiences include commercial and project management of LNG projects in the Asia-Pacific region, leading strategy for customer and partner engagements and managing equity positions, and power generation project management, trading, and upstream investment. Kunro also worked on a variety of trade and economic policy issues at the Japanese embassy in Canberra, Australia.
