Chris Park

Chris H. Park is a research assistant and program coordinator for the Arleigh A. Burke Chair at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). He focuses on northeast Asian security, alliance politics, and defense planning. Chris has written on these issues for The Diplomat, NK News, and Asia Unbound at the Council on Foreign Relations. Prior to joining CSIS, Chris was a majority staff intern at the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and a graduate research assistant for former deputy director of central intelligence John E. McLaughlin. Chris holds a BA in international studies from Johns Hopkins University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He is pursuing an MA in international relations at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies with a U.S. Department of Education Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship.
